Shine - Carer's Support Group
(Schizophrenia - Mental Illness)
The Blackrock/South Dublin carer's support group of Shine meets on the first Monday of each month @ 8pm (except for public holidays when it's the second Monday). Founded in 1976 this carers group led to the formation of what is now SHINE.
Our meetings are for all carer's dealing with a loved one experiencing Mental Illness. They are an opportunity to discuss -share problems - support each other privately & in confidence.
We maintain close links with the Mental Health Services to keep ourselves informed.
We are open to all & like you are carer's - We should talk.
